Sitting & Dynamic Transitions
Support upright exploration and independent movement. Focus on "dynamic transitional fluency"—not just holding a pose, but moving fluidly in and out of it with symmetry on both sides.
Developmental Goals
- Dynamic Sitting: Moving beyond static balance to actively pivoting left and right while seated on the floor
- Floor Play: Pivoting on the floor and purposeful, controlled rolling from back to stomach and back
- Transitional Positions: Exploring essential "in-between" milestones like side-sit and side-lie that connect movement patterns
